What is GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu is a three-amino-acid peptide that binds copper and circulates naturally in your blood. It was first isolated from human plasma in 1973. It signals skin and connective-tissue cells to make collagen, elastin and the proteins that hold tissue together, and it helps recruit repair cells to damaged areas. Its level in plasma drops from about 200 ng/mL at age 20 to about 80 ng/mL by age 60.
