Prescription products require an online evaluation with a licensed medical professional who will determine if a prescription is appropriate. Products are compounded by a licensed pharmacy. What are GLP-1s?

(glucagon-like peptide-1)

The body naturally makes GLP-1 after you eat. It is one of the signals that helps tell the brain “we've had enough,” while slowing digestion and supporting steadier blood sugar after meals. GLP-1 medications are designed to mimic that natural hormone signal. By helping that fullness signal stay active longer, they may support appetite regulation, steadier eating patterns, and metabolic health.

Average body weight reduction in the pivotal clinical trials of brand-name semaglutide and tirzepatide

15–21%

About 15% with once-weekly semaglutide over 68 weeks (STEP 1) and up to about 21% with tirzepatide over 72 weeks (SURMOUNT-1), both with lifestyle changes. Compounded GLP-1s are not the brand-name products and were not studied in those trials; individual results vary.

How GLP-1 care works

  1. Day 1

A US-licensed physician reviews your health profile, goals and treatment history to decide whether semaglutide or tirzepatide is the right starting point, and at what dose.

  2. 7 Days

Your first weekly injection. Appetite usually quiets within days; some nausea in the first weeks is common and fades as the dose settles.

  3. 30 Days

Fullness comes sooner and cravings soften. Your physician checks how you feel before any dose increase.

  4. 6 Months

Weight loss builds steadily with the plan, food and movement. Doses are adjusted at your check-ins.

  5. 1 Year and Beyond

Maintenance is part of the plan: your physician decides with you how to hold your results or taper.

The science of GLP-1s

GLP-1 is a hormone the body already makes after eating, telling the brain “we've had enough” while slowing digestion and steadying blood sugar. GLP-1 medications amplify that same signal for a full week per dose; tirzepatide adds the GIP signal on top.

In the pivotal trials, brand-name semaglutide produced about 15% weight loss and tirzepatide up to about 21%, and semaglutide also reduced major cardiovascular events in people with obesity without diabetes (SELECT). Compounded versions are prescribed by your physician when appropriate and are not the brand-name products.

No physician–patient relationship from intake alone. The assessment available on the Zepym Health website does not, by itself, create a physician–patient relationship between the individual completing the assessment and Zepym Health or its Affiliated Medical Group. Clinicians of the Affiliated Medical Group adhere to clinical protocols designed for patient safety and use exclusionary criteria to determine whether an individual is not a candidate for GLP-1 therapy. Answers provided in the assessment may screen an individual out of eligibility. A licensed Clinician will review your intake after checkout to determine whether you qualify for a prescription. Clinicians retain sole authority over the decision to prescribe.

Customer claims & individual results. Claims and benefits referenced on this website refer to self-reported data from customers on a treatment plan that includes GLP-1 medications and consultations with medical professionals. Customers reported their weight on the initial intake and approximately every 3–4 weeks thereafter. Results may vary and are affected by adherence to the program and Clinician recommendations. Inches lost from hips, waist, chest, thighs and arms, where mentioned, are not typical and reflect individuals who also followed a reduced-calorie diet and regular exercise. Consult a healthcare professional before using any medication or beginning a weight-loss program.

Compounded medications. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not verify the safety, effectiveness, or quality of compounded drugs before they are marketed. Where clinically appropriate, a licensed Clinician may prescribe a compounded medication prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy operating under Section 503A. A compounded medication is only prescribed when a Clinician determines it is medically appropriate, based on a telehealth consultation and your medical history. Nothing on this website is intended to state or imply that any compounded medication is FDA-approved, proven, or guaranteed to be safe or effective. We encourage prospective users to discuss the specific risks and benefits with their Clinician.
