What is the 30-unit oxytocin spray?
(the higher-strength spray)
Identical to the 20-unit spray except for the concentration: 30 units of oxytocin per spray. Oxytocin is the hormone released during touch, orgasm and bonding; as a nasal spray it reaches the brain quickly. The higher strength is chosen when the 20-unit dose produced a noticeable but modest effect, or when a physician judges a larger dose appropriate from the start.
